Hi, I'm Jody.
I'm a redeemed soul, wife to a good man, and mama to two sweet little humans. I am lucky enough to live on my family farm in Iron River, Alberta.
There are three things that have always been important to me: being a lifelong learner; stretching my creativity; and being a part of something with lasting value.
All of these things are what lead me to become a teacher. For many years, I’ve used the classroom as a means to learn, create, and hopefully inspire the next generation. Since my daughter was born in 2020, I’ve been able to pivot these same driving forces into photography, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that it’s been an absolute gift to me. Spending my free time listening to podcasts, watching tutorials, and engaging in webinars inspires me to continue learning. Finding perfect locations, helping to style clients, and leading them through a session fills my soul. I adore being a part of your world for an evening, simply recording your family as they are, and in the end, creating something lasting. I can’t imagine a better job!
