Motherhood

The moment I found out that I was expecting my first baby, I was filled with a thrill of joy in the expectation, and then suddenly a rush of fear at the thought of ever losing her. I realised in that moment what motherhood is; it's a fierce attachment that inexplicably bonds us to our children even before they are born. In the moment you become a mother, you are willing to forfeit everything, including your life, for that child. Becoming a mother changed everything about me, not just personally but as a photographer as well. Motherhood sessions are by far my favourite to shoot because in each image I see a little bit of myself. Understanding the relationship between mother and child, I would love to create an heirloom gallery of the special bond between you and your children.
